2022 Upper Deck CFL Football Review

Upper Deck continues to provide Canadian Football League fans with a product to celebrate their favorite players and teams!
2022 Upper Deck CFL released in May of 2023. Hobby boxes contain 16 packs with eight cards in each pack. The base set is made up of 200 cards of players from all 9 CFL teams.
This set isn’t fancy. All 200 cards are pure base cards. There are no base subsets or inserts of any kind in the release. That’s too bad because creative inserts are typically one of my favorite aspects of Upper Deck products.

Four different parallels do provide a bit of variety. They break down as follows:
Gold 1:4 packs
Exclusives /100
High Gloss /10
Purple 1/1
Interestingly, the pack odds on the back of the pack say the 1/1s are black, however out in the real world, they are purple as you can see here on eBay.
Autographs and Relic cards are another component of each hobby box. Collectors should expect to find a combination of three autograph and relic cards per box.
