The Norman Smiley Collection
One of my favorite eras of professional wrestling was the “attitude era” of the late 90s and early 2000s. And one of my favorite wrestlers from that era was the “master of submission moves” Norman Smiley. Sometimes he won, sometimes he lost, but his signature move, The Big Wiggle, got my friends and I out of our seats every Monday night.
When I was looking for a wrestler to focus on in my collection, I landed on Norman Smiley. His cards are affordable and they bring back all the great memories of watching wrestling with my friends during my college years!
There are less than 100 different Smiley cards, and outside of about 17 One of Ones, I only need two more cards to have his full run. If you come across any 1/1s, the 1993 Topps CMLL “Black Magic” card or the 2017 Topps Legends #68 Blue Parallel card /50 let me know.
