1988 Hostess WWF Stickers

The 1988 Hostess Stickers set has so many characteristics I love.

Oddball food issue? Check.

Canadian product with limited US availability? Check.

WWF Superstars from my youth? Check.

I have fallen in love with food issue wrestling sets. It started with the 1986 Carnation set. My focus then turned to the Canadian 1988 Quaker Dipps cards, which are pretty hard to find and I continue to be a few cards short of the full set. Next was the Canadian 1991 Swanson 12 card wrestling set which came inside TV Dinner boxes.

My most recent focus has been on the Canadian 1988 Hostess WWF Stickers set! These stickers came in a cellophane wrapper inside bags of chips. They are tiny little stickers (about 1.5”x2”), and they are super cool. The set showed up on my radar via a trade with Ryan Cracknell. He was interested in one of my Swanson sets and had some extra Hostess stickers he offered as part of a trade! Once I got them in hand, I knew I wanted to fill out the set.
