The Details
Upper Deck Allure has become a staple of their hockey portfolio. Since debuting during the 2019-20 season, the chromium based product features an opportunity to chase a host of colored parallels, creative inserts, and autographs.
The base set contains 150 cards. The first 100 are veterans and the final 50 are rookies which typically fall one per pack. As I mentioned earlier, parallels are a key aspect of this set. There are 10 base card parallels to chase with varying levels of scarcity. I really like that number. Ten parallels provides a challenging rainbow build, but doesn’t create an impossible task like we see from some other chrome sets.
Black Rainbow – not numbered
Red Rainbow – not numbered
Orange Slice – not numbered
Pink Lemonade – not numbered
Gold Glitter Bomb – /199
Green Rainbow – /99
Blue Line – /35
Purple Diamond – /10
Golden Treasures – 1/1
Printing Plates – 1/1
Each hobby box will also contain several insert cards with the creative designs we’ve come to expect from Upper Deck products. They also have varying levels of scarcity from the common “Color Flow” to the very scarce “16-Bit” which only fall in 1:576 packs. Those 16 Bit cards typically sell for several hundred dollars on eBay!
Each hobby box includes at least 1 “hit” which could be one of the rare insert cards or one of about 400 different types of autographed cards.
You can find both hobby and retail boxes on eBay.
